Aimee Saras has been singing since the age of 5, turning her favorite hobby professionally, while living in United States of America; Involved in different kind of music performances, such as Forest Hills Big Band Orchestra, Harlem Gospel Choir, The Indonesian Embassy and Consulates events, including an audition for the infamous American Idol.
For 13 years residing in New York, Aimee Saras has also taken acting and dancing classes, completed theatre intensive workshops at Marymount Manhattan College, to heighten her overall ultimate interest in life: musical theatre. With profound dedication and diligence, she made her way to an off-Broadway production of Miss Saigon, and gained a role as Gigi as well as dance ensemble.
As a true native Indonesian, she returned to motherland, confidently bringing her talents of what has yet to become discovered. Began her career as a radio broadcaster, Aimee Saras eventually landed a principal role as Sari in a major Indonesia’s musical theatre productions thus far, ONROP! Musikal by Joko Anwar.
